As far as passion/personal projects go, this is one of my recent favorites, mixing everything I love into one experience: shooting outdoors in an incredible location, creating a fantasy-based concept and trying a bunch of fun elemental special effects and praying for the best while we all have a blast!

Forest Faun: BatBren
Making of: ICAM Films
ONIRIC Glow: Composite Nation
Composite Timelapse:
The interesting thing about this project is that it started as a remake of a (very) old shoot I made back in 2012. Which coincidentaly was one of my first attempts at something "conceptual" (having ABSOLUTELY no idea what I was doing, shooting with a green screen and some seriously hideous compositing in Photoshop 5).
You can see the original shot to the left and the "remade" version to the right. Needless to say, the shoot evolved drastically once we had the "remake" out of the way!
I had to tell you the main thing that totally changed my photography in those 7 years, it would definitely have to be lighting. Although it was a bit of an ordeal going through the forest with a beautiful GodoxAD600 complete with Savage Octabox, it was TOTALLY worth it! All of my rim lighting was made with an awesome Godox AD200 with a barn door.
Although im not very big on black and white photography, there where some shots that totally lend themselves to that style (especially with all the rich contrast generated by the location, lighting and colors!)
t One of my main objectives once set, was to create a combination of "elemental" shots, showing off what a Faun could actually do (at least in my conception of such a magical character)
What would such an amazing experience be without a making-of video? Thanks to the awesome crew at ICAM Films you can see how it all went (sorry for all the rambling in spanish, but I'm guessing you can perfectly know what's being said by watching what happens!)
