Master of Dry Ice: Vanne_pizanna
Life and death, the evergoing cycle, one dependent on the other and always flowing.
Coatlicue: Known as the mother of all the gods, the one with the “Serpent Skirt” considered a fertility goddess, life and death patron, the guide of rebirth. ¡Thanks to my awesome team for making all this dry-ice craze a reallity!
Shot in-studio with the amazing makeup and styling of Paty Burgos and playing with a bunch of dry ice. All shot with sony speedlights and different modifiers and gels.
Cempasuchitl, also called "flor de muerto" is the name for marigold flowers that are used in Day of the Dead celebrations.
A good portion of the photoshoot was created using dry ice, which was a complete hassle, but a huge learning opportunity, i'll definitely keep exploring its different uses!
